Plastic Components Production
Placement
​
Tasks at placement involve fitting what is known as a jat to one end of each rigid riser. The operator can sit or stand to do the task. A jat is taken in one hand and a rigid riser is held in the other hand. The jat is pushed into one end of the rigid riser. The rigid riser is held with both hands and is pushed into a rotating jig which screws the jat into the rigid riser. The process is repeated. Once a large number are completed, the rigid risers are packed into plastic bags. Each plastic bag is then placed into a heat sealing machine that is operated by foot. The bags are packed into cartons. The cartons are then sealed with adhesive tape and placed onto a pallet.
